2023 MGS Entertainment Show starts its first day of event on November 14, 2023 at Galaxy International Convention Center. 2023 MGS is organized by the Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association, with a total exhibition area of over 3,700 square meters and about 35 outstanding exhibitors, it attracts more than 3,000 professional visitors and tourists from home and abroad during its first show day.
The President of the Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association (MGEMA), Dr. Jay Chun, said during the 2023 MGS Opening Ceremony that, with the theme of "The Asian Pioneer Returns" for the year 2023, MGS is telling the "Macau Story" from the perspective of leisure technology, and bring the first leading offline professional industry exhibition in Asia after 2020 to the leisure, entertainment and technology industry of Macau after many years of precipitation, with the aim of establishing a platform for discussion and exchange between the local participants and global industry players, and exploring innovative solutions for Macau's entertainment, technology, and tourism industries, which will contribute to the recovery of Macau's economy and enrich the connotation of the World Centre of Tourism and Leisure.

MGS Summit also made a successful return on Day 1. In a panel session titled “Pioneering a New Macau”, senior executives from all six Macau concessionaires explored the main themes around a new “post-COVID” and post VIP-dominant era of business, with a focus on the mass market — both premium mass and grind mass – and expenditures on non-gaming initiatives as wide-ranging as MICE; entertainment; sports, art and culture; community, health and maritime tourism and much more.
